The Joys of Motherhood

My youngest son Jude and I sitting outside 😊

Hi, Lovely Readers!

I hope you all are having a wonderful day. 😊

This will be a long blog post, but this won't happen often. I hope you will read it to the end.

šŸ”¹ļøšŸ”¹ļøšŸ”¹ļøšŸ”¹ļø

Let's kick it off with today's thoughts.

Yesterday, I spent the majority of the day caring for our 3 children, Lily, Seth, & Jude. I have to admit that it got quite overwhelming yesterday. I had to take a step back and not let it get to me. I admit it is easier said than done.

I realized I have so much to be thankful for. I need to continue to be a proverbial housewife. The Lord provided a way for me to stay at home with our children, and my husband works full time.

When I was younger, I would constantly pray for a husband and kids. He answered my prayers. I am so thankful. I wouldn't have it any other way.

The Lord blessed us with these babies, and we should be thankful to do the mundane things.

We have to keep on striving to be the best wife and mother that we can be for God.

Here is a wonderful verse that talks about this...

Proverbs 31:27

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

As a housewife, sometimes it gets so hard and overwhelming. We all want to give up, and take the lazy route. Instead, we should not be idle and just keep getting up every day, pray before our feet touch the ground, and conquer the day.

Keep on going! Focus on caring and spending time with your children, teaching them, making meals, running errands, and doing housework. Do it with a grateful heart.

To the ladies that are married and don't have children

I worked when my husband and I were dating, and I continued working after we got married. Then, I became a housewife once we started having children. I know that isn't the case for every couple, so just do the best you can with what you have. God knows your situation.

Anyways, when we were first married, I made it my goal to be the best wife I could be. I made sure the fridge was full of groceries. I tried to get the housework completed. I made time to make every meal or make sure we ate at appropriate times. We also split up who cooked some days. My mom raised and showed me how to do those things. For example, she would clean, take care of the kids, and cook all day. Yet she always make sure that dinner was on the table at the same time every day.

I take time out of the week and spent time with my husband. We read the KJV bible and pray together. Also, we go soul winning together. It will help you grow closer as a couple.

To ladies who are single

I know what it feels like to pray that the Lord would provide a man for you to marry. I would constantly pray and ask to have a boyfriend and one day get married. I pray that the Lord will bring you a man that is right for you. Keep being a faithful servant of the Lord by reading your bible, praying daily, go soul winning weekly, help your parents, and keep up on the housework & pay the bills (if you live on your own or with your parents).

I know it may get lonely at times. I suggest finding a sister in Christ that is also single and encourage one another to read your bible daily, pray together, encourage and strengthen one another, and go soul winning together. Get involved with your church and go soul winning with the ladies. When I was single, I made sure to continue to stay out of trouble and continue the work of the Lord. I hope one day you will find your true love. Until then, seek the Lord, and he will give you the unconditional love that you so desire.😊

To everyone, I challenge you to get into the habit of being the housewife that the Lord has made us to be. Find a routine that best suites you and keep going. Get a planner and a journal too! You might be already be doing all this, and good job for doing it! Keep it up.

Thank you to everyone who has subscribed. I appreciate each and everyone of you. I hope today's blog has encouraged you. If you have any prayer needs or would like to talk with me, please feel free to email me at proverbialhousewife@hotmail.com.
