I will praise thee... I will exalt thee

Hi, Lovely Readers!

It has been quite some time since my last blog post. A lot has happened since then. I want to start off by saying that I plan on making regular posts. I won't make any promises though. Our family has gone through many trials and tribulations, but I thank the Lord for where I am today. He has been there for our family through it all. I hope I can pick up where I left off and continue to give you guys some amazing content to encourage and inspire you all.

Please continue to pray for my family. I would appreciate it so much. We are so thankful for your prayers.

There was a bible verse that stuck out to me not long ago...

Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

Psalm 118:28 KJV

Lily is going through Psalms for homeschool & daily bible reading. She just read chapter 118. As I was listening to her read, this bible verse stood out to me. We need to praise and exalt God daily just like he says here. I want to strive to do that even more than I am doing now.

I want to be transparent. There are days when my flesh is weak, but I have to overcome that through Christ. I keep praising him every day. Praising him no matter what you're going through, and living a life that pleases the Lord is very important.

I need to strengthen my spirit daily with prayer and scripture. Doing it and saying it are two different things. My old flesh is still here so it will be a daily battle. I realized that I had to put away my old fleshly desires and start fresh after getting saved. I needed the Lord to be the center of my life and trusted him as my Savior. Getting saved is the easy part, but keeping up with a Christ-centered lifestyle takes work, determination, & dedication. You don't just become this new person overnight and start living a godly life. It takes time because every day you die to your old self & start fresh. Every day I'm discovering new things the Lord says in the KJV Holy Bible. We need to use it in our daily life. He gives us this manual, which we call the KJV Holy Bible. It's up to us to use it for its intended purpose. We can't live life without it.

As a mother of four children now, I have been busy as a full time stay-at-home mom. I homeschool Lily and Seth now. I tend to Phebe & Jude's every need. I also still breastfeed Phebe. Life has felt like it is never ending multitasking with being a homemaker, wife, and mother. I struggle with physical pain daily. But guess what, I give the Lord praise and exalt him every day. I am so thankful for everything the Lord has done for my family. I am blessed beyond what I deserve or could even imagine. I use my testimony to show others how amazing the Lord is to his children. He has always provided for our family. The Lord is so good to us.

I was struggling with my personal life. I needed to take a step back from writing. I had to focus on my family. I'm thankful that I am able to take this time to write again. I wanted to share what was on my mind as I thought about Psalms 118:28 after Lily read it.

Life is hard and can be overwhelming sometimes. If we keep persevering and keeping our eyes to the Lord, he will give us strength that we didn't know we had. If we are faithful to him no matter what, he will provide all of our needs. If we just trust in the Lord with everything, he will make all things work out. He just wants us to come to him with praise and exalt him.

If you are married, a single woman, or dating someone, you have your daily struggles. I see you and acknowledge that you are trying to do your best. Keep your head up, and don't let the things or people in life put a stumbling block in your way. Never give up. Life is so precious, and we only have one life to live for the Lord. We might as well live it praising and exalting him. He can certainly take it all away at any moment.

I have been wanting to write for a while now, but the Lord helped me decide that this was the right time for this to be posted. It was in his time and not mine. I hope you guys understand. I hope this encourages and helps someone that reads this.

Thank you for reading today's blog post. May God continue to work with you and strengthen you daily.
