Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Hi, Lovely Readers!
I hope you all had a wonderful summer so far. Summer is long & hot here in South Carolina. We have been dealing with lots of thunderstorms, and it is hurricane season.
I have been slacking on making blog posts with this current pregnancy. I am still dealing with lots of nausea and fatigue. Thank you for being faithful followers. (This part I wrote was back in Aug. 18, 2020). I will be posting more short blogs soon.
I hope you enjoy this blog today.😊
I am excited about this post. Cypress Gardens is one of my favorite places to go to besides the beach at Isle of Palms.
There is a lot to do there. Here are some examples....
Normally, visitors can go on a guided tour or do a self-guided tour of the swamp. I believe they are only doing self-guided tours for now. They have a handful of birds to check out, a playground, gift shop, pathways to walk around the swamp, a butterfly house, and a swaparium with lots of animals inside the building.
My oldest child, Lily, loves going to the butterfly house. Last time we went there, we saw many caterpillars on a bush. A random duck was in their pond with lots of fish.
We went in July, and it was so nice to finally experience things without being at the end of my pregnancy. We did the self-guided tour of the swamp and all the other things too. It was so peaceful, and it reminded me of Psalms 91. It is one of my favorite chapters. Take a moment to read that chapter.
If you are ever in South Carolina near Charleston, you should check it out.
It is located in Moncks Corner.
Below are some photos I took from our last trip in July & in 2019.
