We have Quails!

Hi, Lovely Readers!
I have exciting news guys! ❤️
So the back story is I bought a dozen fertilized eggs from a guy in my chicken lovers group here in SC. When I got them, I numbered the quail eggs # 1- # 12. We only had 11 eggs that we tried to hatch. # 12 was cracked slightly after the first week so we cracked it and got rid of it. It was a dud.
Today, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, Quail #4 hatched this morning after Aaron left work at some point.
We have 2 more (# 1 & # 2) that are working their way out. Please pray they will get out safely and survive! Thank you! I don't think there will be more hatching after the other 2 hatch, but we shall see.
As I typed this, #2 hatched! Haha! It is a different color. I will add more about that one when it gets drier.
Today is day 21, and it was a surprise that any hatched since quails hatch anywhere from 16 to 19 days.
They were well over their due date. Just like women, they don't always go by their due date. Lol!
Now we are on a new adventure on quails.
The kids catch wait to see them hatch and hold them. So adorable and tiny!😍

Update # 2:
Quail # 2 (dark colored) hatched, then quail # 1 (light colored like # 4) hatched! Here are a couple photos of them.
Within a few hours, # 1 hatched after # 2.
